With world economies in crisis, the tourism industry cannot expect to be insulated from inevitable fall out.
The Travel and Tourism Resilience Forum has been arranged by independent industry leaders and media at very short notice. The Forum enables all sectors of the industry including inbound, outbound and domestic, leisure, business travel and tourism, to come together in plenary and syndicated breakout sessions to achieve tangible and workable outcomes to benefit all sectors of the tourism and hospitality industry.
No matter how small or large a business you are this is the opportunity to chart a road map towards insulating your business. Hear success stories from the experts and develop workable strategies with your industry colleagues to recover tourism in Australia and the health of your business.
The best solution for the Australian travel industry at inbound, outbound and domestic level is for tourism professionals to come together and formulate a strategic approach to protect our industry from the negative mood which is gripping Australia and eradicate the view of travel as a discretionary rather than necessary spend.
There will be sessions specific for outbound, inbound and domestic recognising that all of us face a common threat to the viability of our businesses, with the objective of all sessions to product tangible and workable outcomes.
We warmly invite you to participate in making our industry resilient in the face of our current challenges. The concept of tourism resilience has been adopted by the UN World Tourism Organisation. |
